Winter in Melbourne 2012

It's been awhile peeps! Just thought I'll share some of my latest foodie forays in this beautiful winter season, and the seasonal dishes that come with it :) Here's the cosy Seven:am cafe at 155 Bay St, Port Melbourne.

Mac and Cheese in the background; Pear and brie with caramelised onions in a toasted sandwich accompanied with a jar of tomato soup!

We found Little King - a pretty, tiny dollhouse of a cafe underneath the archways of St. Paul's Cathedral on Swanston St. It serves hot drinks, sandwiches and vegan cakes.

Kallista Tea Room in Mt. Dandenong - with perfect wide windows to soak up the winter sun :)

Yet another new cafe on the Brunswick St scene - Argos Loves Company (149 Brunswick St) serves up affordable and simple meals in a homey environment... think open kitchen and vintage crockery!
