Finns Reserve

Finally made it to the nearby park on another glorious Sunday evening :) Finns Reserve has a cute playing space for kids called Wombat Bend and a bridge that leads to the Yarra Trail. A favourite for bikers!

Vignettes of Northern Vietnam

The famous yellow facade of the Hanoi Opera House.

Freshly made banh cuon - rice flour rolls with mushroom and pork mince. Served with a tangy and spicy dipping sauce.

Summer wedding

The day started blustery and cold, but the sun appeared for a few hours at least! Location - Mambourin Sensory Garden in Werribee.

Gateau coco :)


Living in a four season country allows one to indulge in the luxury of yummy seasonal fruits; and these were the last of the summer berry season :) The cake was made using Chubby Hubby's recipe for Gateau Coco Framboise... dark and moist with a gooey centre!
